Design background

My education and early design career started in design research and service design. A natural byproduct of these specializations was finding myself at home working on IOT and health design projects. I loved the challenges and opportunities for impact that this provided and have brought many invaluable lessons from this time with me into my current practice.

Fun stuff

In my time outside of work I love small creative projects (wood working, fiber arts, hobbiest electronics) and outdoor leisure sports. Sailing and skiing are great sources of joy for me and my family and I feel lucky to be able to do both from Vancouver BC.
